Job summary

Inventus Power in Woodridge, IL seeks a Financial Analyst to support annual budgets, monthly forecasts, management reporting, and financial analysis within Corporate FP&A. You will partner with global finance and commercial teams to explain performance and provide insights that drive business decisions.

• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; Power BI experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across global teams.
• Manufacturing or multi-site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budget and monthly forecast processes, including consolidation of global submissions and analysis of key business drivers.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and operating review presentations for leadership.
• Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior year; identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with commercial finance and sales teams on revenue, customer profitability, direct sales, and rebate reporting.
• Build and enhance Excel-based financial models, variance analysis tools, and Power BI dashboards to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with international finance teams to manage reporting deadlines, deliverables, and consistent financial metrics.
• Use Prophix or comparable EPM systems to support planning, reporting, and ad hoc analysis; identify opportunities for process automation.
• Support financial analysis of plant and operating performance, including cost trends and profitability.

What You’ll Do

The Financial Analyst is a key member of the Corporate FP&A team, supporting annual budgets, monthly forecasts, management reporting, and financial analysis. What You Will Need

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to collaborate across global teams.
• Manufacturing or multi-site business experience preferred.
