About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team in a broad, highly visible role that works across multiple areas of the business.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional analyst position. The role will provide exposure to Sales, Sales Planning, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Accounting, and senior leadership, with the chance to understand how the business operates from both a financial and operational perspective.

The Financial Analyst will support reporting, planning, profitability analysis, inventory and landed cost analysis, pricing, commissions, and process improvement. Just as importantly, we are looking for someone who is curious, willing to dig into the numbers, ask questions, identify issues, and help turn financial and operational data into better business decisions.

As you develop a deeper understanding of the company, there will be opportunity to expand your responsibilities, take greater ownership, and have a meaningful impact on how we operate.

  • Investigate financial trends and variances and help identify the underlying business drivers.

  • Review inventory levels and help develop recommendations for obsolete and slow-moving inventory.

  • Review and code inbound freight invoices for accuracy and appropriate accounting classification.
Accounting, Controls & Process Improvement

  • Provide Accounts Payable backup coverage during planned absences.
  • Take on special projects and financial analyses as business needs arise.
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is naturally curious and wants to understand not just what the numbers are, but why they look the way they do.

The right person will be proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable digging into a problem until they understand the root cause. They should also be willing to ask questions, challenge existing processes when appropriate, collaborate cross-functionally, and communicate their findings clearly to people throughout the organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and communicate key findings.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets and financial models.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across all departments.
  • Interest in learning how the entire business operates and how financial and operational decisions connect.
