Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the financial performance of a portfolio of home care locations by preparing P&L reviews, variance analysis, and monthly reporting. This role works under the guidance of senior finance team members while developing foundational skills in operational finance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field (internship experience considered).
  • Working understanding of financial statements and GAAP exposure is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to financial modeling or ERP/accounting systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Comfortable communicating with non-finance operational leaders and building collaborative working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct reviews of P&L statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Provide financial support to Operating Directors to ensure they are properly supported.
  • Respond to finance data requests from operational leaders.
  • Analyze financial performance trends, variances, and key drivers impacting profitability across locations, and share insights with operational leaders and senior team members.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes for your book of business by utilizing P&L trends and historical data.
  • Collaborate with other finance team members to develop reports and dashboards to track financial performance and key metrics across the organization.
  • Assist with monthly financial review calls with Operating Directors.
  • Support delivery of P&L statement training to operational leaders to help build financial literacy across the organization.
  • Participate in month-end and quarter-end financial close processes.
  • Assist in special projects, financial modeling, and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst that supports the financial performance of a portfolio of home care locations by preparing P&L reviews, variance analysis, and monthly reporting.
