Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role supports corporate FP&A, accounting, and business units to deliver accurate forecasts, management reporting, and clear financial analysis under US GAAP.

Responsibilities include monthly close support, variance analysis, and building operating models for revenue, headcount, opex, and cash flow, with dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/Looker to convey KPIs and trends.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, audit, or related corporate finance function
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, financial modeling, and data validation
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, and month-end close processes
• Experience with an ERP or financial planning system such as NetSuite, Workday, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, or Adaptive Planning
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain financial results to non-finance stakeholders
• Bonus: Experience with SOX controls, SEC reporting, SQL, BI dashboards, CPA coursework, or progress toward a CPA

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, variance analyses, and financial schedules using Excel and financial planning systems
• Build and maintain forecasts, budgets, and operating models for revenue, headcount, opex, and cash flow
• Reconcile financial data between the general ledger, subledgers, ERP systems, and business reporting tools
• Support the monthly close process by documenting journal-entry support, accruals, account reconciliations, and flux explanations
• Partner with accounting and compliance teams to maintain SOX control documentation, testing support, and remediation tracking
• Develop dashboards and recurring reports in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to communicate KPIs and trends
• Provide schedules and analysis for external audit, SEC reporting, board materials, and ad hoc finance requests

About The Role

The Financial Analyst supports corporate finance and accounting by turning financial data into accurate forecasts, management reporting, and clear analysis. The role works across FP&A, accounting, and business teams to maintain reliable reporting under US GAAP and established internal controls. You will help prepare monthly and quarterly close materials, analyze operating performance, and support SOX and SEC-related reporting processes. The work directly improves forecast accuracy, audit readiness, and leadership visibility into the company’s financial position.
