Walton Global is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Financial and Real Estate team at our Scottsdale headquarters. This in-office role focuses on analyzing current and future projects to inform executive decision making and supports portfolio management across departments.

You will apply strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to build complex models, underwrite opportunities, and contribute to investor reporting and distributions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of real estate experience in residential land development, retail or build-to-rent development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic record.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skill set with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain real estate acquisition, development, fund and investor distribution models.
• Research and underwrite opportunities in multiple markets across the United States.
• Assist with investment committee materials for weekly acquisition and disposition meetings.

Position Summary

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Scottsdale, AZ.Walton is currently looking for a full-time Financial Analyst that will work out of our global headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ. The Financial Management Analyst will be an integral part of the Financial and Real Estate team at Walton, helping to perform the analysis of present and future projects to help inform executive decision making. This role will have companywide portfolio management responsibilities while working alongside the land asset management, capital markets, operations, and corporate finance teams.

We are searching for a professional with strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail, along with developed communications and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain complex real estate acquisition, development, fund and investor distribution models
• Research and underwrite opportunities in a number of different markets across the United States
• Assist with the creation of investment committee materials for the weekly acquisition and disposition approval meeting.
• Communicate project updates and facilitate financial distributions to our investors
• Conduct detailed analyses of company investments in order to develop portfolio optimization strategies
• Play a key role in new business development to strengthen Walton’s strategic partnerships
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders on a day-to-day basis
• Support fundraising efforts globally
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Minimum of 2+ years of full-time, professional experience in real estate specifically in residential land development, retail and build-to-rent development
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• Strong quantitative and analytical skill set with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative while working effectively within a team
