Job summary

Ocean Park Asset is seeking a Financial Analyst to turn markets and performance data into decisions leadership and clients can act on. You will sit close to our quantitative systems and translate outputs into research, reporting, and insight.

If you prefer the analytical side of finance to the political one, this is a good seat. You’ll conduct research, build dashboards, write investment memos, and collaborate with engineering to improve what our data can tell us.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis, investment research, or data analysis.
• Strong Excel skills; ability to use SQL or Python with real datasets.
• Clear, readable writing and the ability to summarize insights.
• Genuine curiosity about markets and quantitative methods.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to turn markets and performance data into decisions. You will sit close to our quantitative systems and translate what they produce into research, reporting, and insight that leadership and clients can act on. If you like the analytical half of finance more than the political half, this is a good seat.

What you'll do

• Support quantitative model evaluation with data analysis and backtesting

What we’re looking for

• Experience in financial analysis, investment research, or data analysis
• Strong Excel skills, plus SQL or Python for working with real datasets
• Ability to write - an analysis nobody can read is not a good analysis
• Genuine curiosity about markets and quantitative methods
• Comfortable working remotely with high independence

Nice to have

• Experience with quantitative strategies, algorithmic trading, or risk modeling
• Exposure to digital assets or blockchain data
• CFA, FRM, or a similar credential, in progress or complete
