Forge Group, LLC in Virginia is seeking a part-time Analyst to support FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will build and maintain financial models translating contract activity and operating expenses into actionable forecasts, and partner with accounting, program management, and leadership.
This role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings to non-financial stakeholders.

We are looking for candidates with strong financial modeling skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working across multiple systems and reconciling data from disparate sources into a single source of truth. We are looking for candidates with excellent attention to detail, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities against monthly and quarterly deadlines. We are looking for candidates who communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance audiences and who take ownership of their analyses end-to-end.
The candidate will support the company's financial planning and analysis function, owning the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis cycles that inform executive decision-making. This position will build and maintain financial models that translate contract activity, indirect rate structures, and operating expenses into actionable forecasts. The candidate will partner closely with accounting, program management, and leadership to explain financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and improve the accuracy of projections over time. This role sits at the intersection of data and strategy, requiring both technical modeling rigor and the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
