Job summary

Leapros, Inc. seeks a Project Financial Analyst to support engineering and construction projects, drive financial performance, and turn data into actionable insights. This role is based in Newport Beach, CA and focuses on budgets, cost controls, and reporting.

You will develop dashboards and KPIs using Power BI, analyze variances, and support invoicing, change orders, and financial close with cross-functional teams. Strong Excel and PM software experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in finance or accounting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with construction project accounting or PM software (Dynamics 365, Procore, Power BI a plus).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
• Analyze budget variances and provide insights to project managers and senior leadership.
• Support project cost controls, invoicing, change orders, and financial close processes.

We're seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Project Financial Analyst to support engineering and construction projects, drive financial performance, and turn data into actionable insights.

Who We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years of relevant financial or accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with construction project accounting or project management software; Microsoft Dynamics 365, Procore, and Power BI experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
