Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a financial analyst to join the plant leadership team onsite. The role covers financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, inventory and cost accounting support, and internal controls. It aims to develop toward a future Controller role with cross-training and development opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years in accounting/finance, strong Excel and ERP skills, and effective communication with both financial and non-financial leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 3+ years of accounting, finance, plant/cost accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • Strong Excel and ERP experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication with both financial and non-financial leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Pull and analyze financial and operational reports.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Support annual operating plans (AOP) and budgets.
  • Cost & Inventory Management: Analyze costs and monitor inventory transactions.
  • Controls & Compliance: Support SOX compliance and internal controls.
  • Leadership & Business Partnership: Collaborate with plant leadership and other functions.

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, inventory and cost accounting support, internal controls, and operational finance business partnering. The position also serves as a member of the plant leadership team and is designed to provide cross‑training and development toward a future Controller role.

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Pull and analyze financial and operational reports
  • Investigate anomalies and performance variances
  • Prepare monthly financial results and KPI reporting
  • Provide insights on budget, forecast, and actual performance
  • Perform what-if and scenario analysis
  • Forecasting & Planning
  • Support annual operating plans (AOP)
  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, and projections
  • Identify risks and opportunities impacting results
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and explain variances
  • Cost & Inventory Management
  • Analyze labor, material, and manufacturing costs
  • Support product costing and standard cost rollups
  • Monitor inventory transactions and accuracy
  • Participate in inventory audits and cycle count processes
  • Identify and mitigate excess and obsolete inventory risks
  • Controls & Compliance
  • Support SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Assist with process and control audits
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards
  • Leadership & Business Partnership
  • Participate on the Plant Leadership Team
  • Support VCP, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and other functional leaders
  • Cross‑train into Controller responsibilities
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 3+ years of relevant accounting, finance, plant accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience
  • Strong Excel and ERP experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with both financial and non‑financial leaders
  • Preferred Oracle ERP experience Manufacturing finance experience Cost accounting experience Inventory accounting experience Budgeting and forecasting experience in a manufacturing environment Continuous improvement/Lean/Kaizen exposure
