York IT Solutions is hiring Financial Analyst in contract and onsite capacity.

Role: Financial Analyst

Location: Minneapolis,MN or Denver, CO

Hourly Rate: $40.00-$45.00 an hr

Position Overview:

This is a Financial Analyst role within Technology Services. The position supports a portfolio of projects, acting as a liaison between project teams and various accounting departments (capital asset accounting, business area finance, and corporate accounting).

Responsibilities :

• High-level financial analysis
• Accrual-based accounting
• Pulling actuals
• Performing “as-built” financials
• Supporting project managers (PMs)
• Working with software/hardware teams
• Ensuring compliance in a regulated industry and performing month end activities

Typical day / supporting:

Supports a team of 10 Portfolio Coordinators, Works closely with PMs, controllers, and corporate accounting.

Ramp up:

Training provided for the first month, Full proficiency expected within 3 months.

Top skills:

• 3-5 years financial analyst Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., banking, government), SAP, SharePoint, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Strong financial and/or accounting background and ability to perform month end duties.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented, Strong communication and relationship-building, Customer service mindset, Quick learner with aptitude for new tools.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
• Regulated industry experience is preferred
