Job summary

Rise Baking Company is seeking a Finance-Commercial Finance professional in Minneapolis, MN to support pricing, planning, and analysis across Sales and Marketing. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop cost targets and pricing strategies for new and existing products.

You will analyze profitability, manage data, and deliver insights to senior leadership, contributing to annual planning and performance reviews in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and data management.
• Exposure to standard costing, PPV, or manufacturing cost structures is a plus.
• High level of proficiency with Excel.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and communicate financial concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with varying levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide pricing recommendations to Sales in a timely manner.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D and operations on new products, providing cost targets.
• Perform sensitivity analysis on customer and item-level profitability and provide insights.
• Analyze inflation trends by category and develop pricing recommendations.
• Maintain rate planning scenarios that feed the profitability tool.
• Flag areas of concern to manager or team based on profitability reviews.
• Complete ad hoc and special project requests as needed.
• Prepare month-end system allocations.
• Participate in annual planning through development and review of key customers.
• Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually

Job Purpose

Provide high-level decision support to senior-level management and various department leads through pricing, planning, analysis, and ad hoc reporting. Provide pricing, planning, and analytical decision support to sales and cross functional department leads, acting as key partner for Sales and Marketing.

Essential Functions

• Actively review customer and item-level profitability and flag areas of concern to manager or team
• Complete ad hoc and special project requests as needed
• Prepare month-end system allocations
• Participate in annual planning through development and review of key customers
• Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and data management
• Exposure to standard costing, PPV, or manufacturing cost structures is a plus
• High level of proficiency with Excel
• Strong financial acumen, including ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, develop recommendations, and communicate financial concepts clearly
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, set priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain high attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and interact with varying levels of management across the organization
• Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working both in group settings and independently
