Job summary

In-Place Machining Company is seeking a Financial Analyst to turn financial and operational data into timely, accurate business insights. You will partner with company leaders to build BI and analysis capabilities and support data‑driven decisions.

This hands‑on, high‑visibility role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and requires onsite attendance in Milwaukee. The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, monthly closes, and presenting to senior management and the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years relevant experience (e.g., management accounting, FP&A, audit, or consulting); manufacturing/ services background is a plus
• Very strong MS Excel proficiency, including financial modeling experience
• Familiarity with ERP software platforms, general ledger, and HR information systems
• Familiarity with business intelligence software (e.g., MS PowerBI) and Enterprise Performance Management software is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Analytical mindset and intellectual curiosity
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and synthesize the results of your work

Responsibilities

• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting to senior management.
• Develop and maintain KPIs to measure business performance.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting package for senior management and the board.
• Work with the CFO to develop the annual budget and forecasts.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested to support decision making.
• Manage business intelligence and forecasting & reporting tools.
• Assist in preparing presentations to management and the board.
• Assist the monthly financial close process as needed.
• Support M&A activities including due diligence, financial modeling, and integration.

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst is responsible for using financial and operational data to deliver timely and accurate business information to IPM’s internal and external stakeholders. The Financial Analyst will work with business leaders across the company to build IPM’s business intelligence and financial analysis capabilities and support data‑driven decision making. This is a hands‑on position, high‑visibility position that reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Essential job duties include

• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting to senior management.
