Job summary

Premier Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 100% onsite role in Miami, FL. You will analyze financial statements, cost data and project reports to drive informed recommendations and risk assessment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, at least four years of relevant experience, and strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and PivotTables, plus proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.
• Minimum four years of recent experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel including formatting, VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, formulas.
• Ability to provide favorable credit history.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, cost data, operating and project reports.

Financial Analyst

Miami, FL (100% onsite expectation)

Rate: $38-$40/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs analyses of financial statements, cost data, operating and project reports.
• Performs complex calculations, and presents findings as required for each project.
• Makes initial assessments and recommendations as to areas requiring further review by auditors.
• Prepare accounting and other required reports and projections based on the analysis performed.
• Identify financial performance trends and financial risk and make recommendations
• Reviews and analyzes the records of financial institutions, such as savings and loan associations, including operating and investment records, and inspection of properties, to make initial identification of areas requiring further analysis.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related labor category field such as Finance or Accounting from an accredited college, university, school, or educational institution recognized by the US Department of Education.
• Minimum four (4) years recent experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel to include formatting, VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, formulas, and functions
• Ability to provide favorable credit history.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have demonstrated experience working with large Excel files with pivot tables as required for arranging data and performing in-depth analysis of financial data.
• Ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects, flexibility in shifting focus.
• Must have and use excellent oral and written communications skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing work product.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines under direct supervision.
