Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of full-time corporate experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leveraging AI tools (Claude in Excel) for modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of Workday and Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate financial models, forecast variances, and strategic recommendations to FP&A, accounting, treasury, and leaders.
• Evaluate KPI trends and actuals vs. budget for dynamic forecasts and reports.
• Support month-end close activities with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations in Workday.
• Leverage AI tools and data platforms to build dynamic models and streamline reporting processes.
• Assist treasury with cash flow analysis and working capital metrics.

Job Description

The Financial Analyst is a full‑time position responsible for driving financial modeling, variance reporting, and strategic forecasting. Operating as an agile team member within our Finance and Accounting organization, this role partners across FP&A, accounting, and treasury functions. The Financial Analyst leverages modern technology and AI tools to evaluate KPI trends, perform actuals vs. budget bridges, support month‑end close accounting, and communicate actionable insights to leadership across the company.

REPORTS TO

The Financial Analyst reports to the Treasury Manager in the Finance and Accounting department.

Essential Duties

The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Effectively communicate financial models, forecast variances, and strategic recommendations across FP&A, accounting, treasury, and business unit leaders.
• Evaluate KPI trends, actual vs. budget performance, and operational drivers to maintain dynamic financial forecasts and management reports.
• Execute key month‑end close activities, including preparing complex journal entries, expense accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations within Workday.
• Leverage AI tools (such as Claude in Excel) and data platforms (Snowflake) to analyze large financial datasets, build dynamic models, and streamline repetitive reporting processes.
• Partner with accounting during month‑end close to analyze departmental expense accruals, trial balances, and general ledger accounts within Workday.
• Assist treasury operations by monitoring cash flow trends, analyzing working capital metrics, and supporting cash forecast inputs.
• Partner with FP&A to prepare presentation materials and executive summaries for monthly financial reviews with senior leadership.
• Maintain agility and flexibility to step into general accounting reconciliations, treasury projects, and ad‑hoc financial analysis as business needs evolve.
• Achieve results by working in a fast‑paced team environment while simultaneously managing and prioritizing multiple deliverables with strict deadlines.
• Maintain a strong sense of ownership and pride in work performed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Preferred: 1-3 years of full‑time work experience in a corporate setting of related fields.

Skills/Specialties

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Working knowledge of core financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and general ledger concepts.
• Preferred: Proven experience leveraging AI tools (Claude in Excel) for dynamic modeling and data analysis.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of Workday and Snowflake.

Certifications/Licenses

• CFA or CPA license or candidate a plus
