We provide extensive opportunities for personal and professional development, building both employee competence and organizational capability to fuel exceptional performance through an inclusive environment both now and in the future.

Summary:

In this role, you will represent one or more contracting business units and generate and maintain revenue accruals, forecasts, and budgets. You will perform complex financial analysis, evaluate revenue performance, identify risks and trends, and develop recommendations to support business decisions and corporate financial objectives. You will collaborate with Category Managers, business unit leaders, and Accounting/Finance leadership to ensure accurate revenue forecasting, provide meaningful financial insights, and support effective financial management.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and monitor revenue on an ongoing basis for contracts within the supported business units, identifying trends, variances, and potential risks.
  • Generate and maintain revenue accruals, forecasts, and budgets to support accurate financial reporting and business planning.
  • Perform complex financial analysis to evaluate business unit performance, investigate variances, and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • Help maintain and enhance the Accounting department's revenue tracking application by providing technical expertise and developing creative solutions to improve functionality and reporting.
  • Conduct monthly revenue meetings with Category Managers and senior business unit leaders to review financial performance, validate forecast assumptions, and discuss risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate and challenge revenue forecast assumptions by reviewing contract terms, market share performance, contractual thresholds, cash and sales history, and product segment competition.
  • Assess the potential financial impact of significant revenue risks and develop recommendations to mitigate adverse effects on the company's bottom line.
  • Communicate findings from monthly revenue meetings to senior leaders in Accounting/Finance and supported business units, including significant budget variances and material forecast changes, to support corporate financial performance monitoring, year-end projections, and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards to provide business units with financial insights and support accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Prepare monthly variance reports for senior management by consolidating and analyzing financial and operational data from multiple sources using advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
  • Develop management recommendations based on financial analysis, business trends, and identified risks to improve revenue performance and support business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, Word, and PowerPoint required.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting systems strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial information and develop recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Category Managers, business unit leaders, and other key stakeholders.
