Responsibilities

• Market research – work with Acquisition team to gather property and market data including site information, regulations, demographics, and rent/comps.
• Investment underwriting - prepares investment models, pro forma statements, budgets, and return summaries with recommended capital structure.
• Development packages – creates market studies and investment presentations per guidelines and investor requirements.
• Transaction management – source development loans, negotiate term sheets and loan docs, and support deal execution with lenders and consultants.
• Liability management - prepare loan draw packages, maintain draw schedules, and provide reporting to investors and lenders.
• Can demonstrate leveraging AI to support standard finance tasks.
• Other duties/project as determined by management.

Job description

As A financial analyst, you will analyzing financial data, trends, and market conditions to provide insights and recommendations to businesses or individuals. Creating financial models, forecasting future performance, and assessing investment opportunities .

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Market Research – work closely with Acquisition team to gather property and market data including site information, governmental regulations, economic growth, demographics, real estate market information including rent and sales comparable, absorption and occupancy trends and amenities and school districts.
• Investment Underwriting - prepares investment models of real estate development projects including pro forma income and expense statement, development budget and investment return summary and recommended capital structure.
• Development Packages – creates market study and investment presentations consistent with company guidelines and investor requirements. These reports include analysis of the project economics, market study, development timeline, financial statements etc.
• Transaction Management – Work with Finance Manager to source development loans, participate in the negotiation of term sheets and loan docs. Provides deal execution support for acquisitions and sales including due diligence items, analyzing third party reports, coordinating with all parties including lenders and consultants, and acting as liaison with other departments of the company.
• Liability Management - Responsible for preparing loan draw packages, maintaining draw schedules for various loans and credit facilities, and providing reporting and on-going compliance assistance to investors and lenders.
• Can demonstrate leveraging AI to support standard finance tasks
• Other duties/project as determined by management.
