Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to perform financial management and program control for design and engineering contracts within the Program Finance Department 626. The role partners with leadership to provide analysis, guidance and bottom-line insights.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, strong Excel/Power BI skills (if any), and the ability to meet tight deadlines while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and/or Statistics.
• 0-3 years of related experience (preferred).
• Experience with Government contract cost control and Earned Value Management is a plus.

The Program Finance team serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic program decisions and achieving bottom-line results.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and/or Statistics

Preferred:

• 0-3 years of related experience
• Prior Electric Boat internship or co-op experience
• Experience in Government contract cost control
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Experience reporting and analyzing financial data
• Experience with Earned Value Management
