Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Financial Analyst to lead financial planning and analysis for electronic steering gears produced and sold at the Florence facility. You will monitor, report, plan and forecast financial health across the area, using value-based management concepts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cost transparency, variance analyses and decision-making. Experience with SAP CO/PA, Excel, SQL, and BI tools is valued.

Qualifications

  • Master’s (Business/Finance/Information Systems) with 2+ yrs experience in manufacturing or related industry, or Bachelor’s (Finance/Accounting) with 4+ yrs experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (incl. Macros) and other MS Office apps.
  • Experience with SQL, VBA and other big data languages preferred.
  • Experience with SAP/ERP/BI systems.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual business plan, quarterly forecast and monthly results analyses for responsible product areas.
  • Measure financial results vs plan and analyze variances.
  • Prepare variance analyses to support management decisions.
  • Use advanced analysis tools for simulations of cost and profitability scenarios.
  • Support CIP and cost transparency initiatives across cost centers.

Job Description

The Financial Analyst role is mainly responsible for financial planning and analysis of key product (i.e. electronic steering gears) manufactured and sold in the Florence facility. They will act as a key driver to the successful monitoring, reporting, planning and forecasting of the financial health of the businesses within their area of responsibility. Utilizing the advanced concepts of value-based management, Financial Analysts will be supporting the financial controlling function to recommend measures to achieve planned results. The incumbent will work and interact with cross functional groups and at all levels of management.

Job Description

  • Preparation of annual business plan, quarterly forecast and monthly results analyses for responsible product areas
  • Measuring financial results compared to business plan to analyze variances
  • Preparing variance analyses reports to support commercial management decision making
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools to perform simulations and analysis for differing cost and profitability scenarios to provide a transparent view to the stakeholders for decision making
  • Automation of standard processes and complex data mining requirements utilizing advanced and highly efficient customized solutions
  • Valued business partner for the value stream leaders by participation in cost reduction (RPP) projects as well as by providing cost transparency for their respective cost centers
  • Tracking standard cost development for lead product (key focus product line)
  • Effective and efficient usage of SAP CO & PA module for business controlling
  • Constantly strive for continuous improvement of processes (CIP) within the area of responsibilities
  • Perform other essential and related duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
  • Master’s (Business/Finance/Information Systems) from an accredited institution with minimum 2 yrs. experience in a manufacturing or other relevant industry experience, or a Bachelor’s (Finance/Accounting) from an accredited institution (ex. CHEA) with minimum 4yrs. experience in a manufacturing or other relevant industry experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (including Macros) and other MS Office applications
  • Experience with SQL database, VBA and other big data languages, preferred
  • Experience with SAP/similar ERP/Business Intelligence (BI) system
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal skills, and analytical capabilities
