Job summary

Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham’s Main Campus Lee Building seeks a Manager of Financial Reporting & Treasury to coordinate and prepare monthly financial statements and oversee reporting for leadership.

The role requires at least two years of relevant healthcare experience, a BS in Accounting, and CPA or Master’s degree preferred. You will support executive management and Board with GAAP-compliant analysis and treasury duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Two+ years of relevant experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Review organization- and department-level financial statements.
• Perform financial analysis and reporting for executives and Board of Trustees.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in treasury duties including cash forecasting and debt compliance.

Aid the Manager of Financial Reporting & Treasury in the coordination & preparation of the monthly financial statements, review of organization & department level financial statements, perform financial analysis and reporting for executive management and Board of Trustees; ensure proper financial reporting in compliance with GAAP & regulatory guidelines; aid in treasury responsibilities such as cash forecasting & debt compliance

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience required
• Healthcare preferred

Education:

• Bachelors of Science or Arts in Accounting
• Masters Degree preferred
• Certified Public Accountant preferred

Schedule: 8:00 - 4:30, Day Shift, Monday-Friday Standard Days
