Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst in Atlanta to support financial planning and analysis under direct supervision. You will interpret and implement financial concepts to aid management, tracking budgets and performance across brokers and teams.

The role emphasizes preparing accounting reports, evaluating financial feasibility of acquisitions, and coordinating with legal on contracts. A 2–3 year finance or accounting background and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3 years of financial analysis or accounting experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provides statistical analysis, development budgets and accounting reports to management personnel.
  • Analyzes broker production and team performance.
  • Coordinates with legal team to ensure contracts incorporate proper business terms.
  • Analyzes the financial feasibility of new hire recruits and acquisitions.
  • Analyzes the financial structure of proposed new hire recruits and acquisitions.
  • Works on projects of moderate complexity.
  • Performs simple economic research work and prepares simple analyses of projects such as broker and company performance metrics.
  • Assists in the preparation of basic revenue forecasts.
  • Work with brokers to help explain how company equity model works.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Skills, Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of previous financial analysis or accounting experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of PC applications such as MS-Excel ad MS-Word
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems a plus
