LaGuardia Community College seeks a Financial Aid Systems Analyst to analyze and implement financial aid regulations, develop databases and reports, and test software upgrades. The role supports compliance with Federal and NY State aid programs and trains staff in CUNYFIRST systems.

Under the Financial Aid Manager, you will enhance data accuracy, prepare reports, and streamline processes for Pell, TAP, Excelsior, and other programs at a major CUNY campus in Queens.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.
• Experience with CUNYFirst system or PeopleSoft, including running and creating queries.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs, and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Knowledge of SQL, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office, NextGen.
• Evening hours required during peak periods.

Aufgaben

• Analyze and implement financial aid regulations and policies.
• Create and develop financial aid databases, reports, and queries.
• Test software upgrades and new aid year configurations.
• Conduct CUNYFIRST training for Financial Aid staff and other departments.
• Assist with compliance of Federal Title IV and NY State aid programs.
• Prepare management reports and maintain documentation.
