Job summary

Gardner-Webb University, a Christian university in Boiling Springs, NC, seeks an Associate Director of Operations for Financial Planning to lead the administration of student financial aid systems and processes. You will help design efficient operations, ensure accurate awarding and disbursement, and work closely with the Director to improve daily office activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong financial aid knowledge.
• Experience with Banner or similar student information systems preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Title IV regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily data exchange with federal gateways (SAIG, COD).
• Load, process, and monitor ISIRs and corrections to determine award eligibility.
• Generate data analysis reports for over-awards and for awarding all students.
• Provide financial aid data for surveys as needed.
• Coordinate all functions related to the financial aid module of Banner.
• Participate in training to stay informed of financial aid regulations and software enhancements; document procedures.
• Coordinate with IT and consultants on Banner upgrades/software.
• Oversee Financial Planning Office staff and daily operations in the Director's absence.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director.
