This position is primarily responsible for working with the advisory teams to help manage client relationships and actively participate in all areas of wealth management. This may encompass the following areas: financial planning, retirement planning, risk management, estate planning, insurance planning, business succession planning and tax considerations.

In this role, the paraplanner will perform a wide range of responsibilities including:

What Y ou’ll Do:
  • Collect, organize and analyze financial data from internal systems and third-party sources to create and update comprehensive financial plans
  • Review and analyze financial planning reports, drawing logical conclusions based on sound economic and financial principles
  • Evaluate alternative planning scenarios and assumptions to identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and strengthen overall plan recommendations
  • Prepare personal net worth statements and financial summaries
  • Conduct risk assessment analysis via Riskalyze or similar software to support appropriate planning and investment recommendations
  • Ensure all client assets are accurately tracked and input into planning, reporting and CRM software
  • Create consolidated household reports and net worth statements for upcoming client meetings
  • Support client onboarding and ongoing account maintenance in coordination with operations and advisory teams
  • Prepare reporting and forms for CPAs and other professional partners
What You Bring :
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in business-related major; a concentration of Finance, Economics and Personal Financial Planning is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Enrollment in or willingness to pursue the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP ® ) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with financial planning software, preferably Money Guide Pro and eMoney
  • Candidate must be a self-starter who is motivated, organized, and analytical
  • Ability to think independently, while also a collaborative team player
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Ability to think critically and process complex financial scenarios
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills – ability to multi-task and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Open and receptive to feedback and mentorship
  • Ability to utilize and leverage partner firm resources
  • Desire for professional growth and a constant learning mindset
