Job description

Are you an experienced financial professional who knows how to take care of clients, but you are ready for something better?

Maybe you are a CPA who has discovered that you enjoy helping people plan for their financial future more than preparing their taxes.

Maybe you are an advisor with a captive firm who is tired of limitations and wants greater independence, better resources, and a team around you.

Maybe you have built your own practice, learned a tremendous amount along the way, and discovered that doing everything yourself is not the best way to serve clients or build the future you want.

Or maybe you are simply a great advisor who knows there has to be a better way.

If any of those sound familiar, we would like to meet you.

What We're Looking For

You’ll grow into a Lead Advisor role serving a group of established client families and helping them navigate every aspect of their financial lives, including:

  • Tax planning
  • Insurance analysis
  • Cash flow planning
  • Education planning
  • Coordination with attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals

You’ll lead client meetings, develop planning recommendations, oversee implementation, and guide client relationships over the long term.

Importantly, you will step into existing client relationships rather than being expected to build a book of business from scratch.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has meaningful experience working directly with clients
  • Has approximately 3–5 years of financial services experience preferred
  • Understands investments and financial planning
  • Can build trust and communicate complex financial concepts clearly
  • Is comfortable leading client conversations
  • Thinks beyond products and focuses on the client’s entire financial picture
  • Is a strong team player
  • Is willing to learn and adapt
  • Takes ownership and follows through
  • Values long-term relationships over short-term transactions
  • Wants to be part of something bigger than their individual book of business

Series 65 licensing is required or must be obtained.

A Life and Health Insurance license is preferred.

CFP® certification is preferred but not required for the right candidate. We are willing to invest in someone who has the experience, character, and desire to become an outstanding financial planner.

What You Can Expect From Us

This is primarily a salaried position. While we value advisors who help the firm grow, production is not required to build a successful career here.

Compensation grows as your capabilities, responsibilities, and contribution to the firm grow.

Expected starting compensation: $65,000–$95,000, depending on experience, capabilities, and the level of responsibility you are prepared to assume.

For highly experienced candidates who can immediately take on significant client and leadership responsibilities, compensation may be substantially higher. Long-term compensation for senior advisors may exceed $200,000.

Benefits include:

  • Health insurance
  • Firm-paid education, licensing, and professional development costs
  • Group Long Term Disability and Life Insurance
  • Paid holidays and competitive PTO hours

We are not looking for someone to simply fill a position. We are looking for someone who could become an important part of the long-term future of the firm.

The right person can grow into a Senior Advisor role with increasing responsibility for client relationships, planning decisions, firm leadership, and mentoring other team members.

For an exceptional long-term fit, there may also be an opportunity to participate in future ownership of the firm.
