The role requires 7–10+ years of experience, licenses (Life/Health, Series 65, 7, 24), excellent communication, and travel about 75% of the time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
7 - 10+ years related experience.
Licenses: Life/Health, Series 65, 7 and 24.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven managerial skills.
Previous sales/leadership experience
Demonstrated attention to detail and effective project management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Experience performing complex financial, statistical and budget analyses, preferably in banking.
Willingness to travel within assigned Market; about 75% of time.
Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

Direct management of Financial Advisors (FAs) in an assigned market/territory.
Recruit, hire, onboard and coach FAs; supervise day-to-day activities.
Partner with Retail and other Partners to drive referrals and build relationships.
Provide sales training and act as product/platform expert resource.
Aim for Mass Affluent revenue and wealth/brokerage referral goals.
Monitor territory performance and prepare financial reports.
Lead marketing programs and campaigns; develop FA pipeline.
Develop and retain highly competent FA staff; ensure staffing needs are met.
Travel within territory; extensive travel required.
Support/perform complex suitability reviews and client meetings.
