Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking aspiring financial advisors to build a client-focused practice with the support of a branch team and home-office resources. You’ll help clients pursue long‑term goals—retirement, wealth, education—and grow your own practice within a privately‑owned firm.

You’ll receive extensive training, early trainee pay, a branch office in the community, and a network spanning from the branch to the home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience in securities/financial services.
• Financial services experience or sales experience is required.
• Financial services registration, licensing, or certification is required.
• Professional and/or military career progression is considered relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (residential, business, networking, introductions and referrals, social media, and speaking engagements).
• Deeply understand clients’ needs to accelerate trust and create personalized strategies to help them reach goals.
• Oversee branch processes to ensure a high‑quality client experience aligned with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage the branch team to develop and monitor the branch business plan and drive results.
• Foster a highly engaging environment in the branch built on trust, respect, feedback and accountability.
