About Peak American

Peak American is one of the fastest-growing Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) in the country. We’re building a modern advisory firm around a simple idea: give talented advisors the support, resources, and opportunity to do their best work for clients.

We believe financial advice should be personal—not transactional.

Our advisors act as fiduciaries, taking the time to understand what matters most to each client and developing strategies designed around their goals, families, and financial lives.

That also means we do things differently for advisors.

We expect our advisors to grow, but growth comes from earning trust, creating value, developing relationships, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

You’ll have meaningful autonomy without being left on your own.

What You’ll Do

As a Financial Advisor at Peak, you’ll own the client relationship from the initial conversation through ongoing planning and advice:

  • Lead discovery conversations to understand each client’s goals, values, priorities, and financial challenges
  • Develop comprehensive strategies across investments, retirement, insurance, tax, and estate planning
  • Guide clients through important financial decisions with clarity and confidence
  • Grow your business through qualified opportunities provided by Peak, referrals, and proactive relationship development
  • Deliver a high-touch, white-glove experience from the first meeting through long-term relationship management
  • Build lasting relationships that create opportunities for referrals and additional growth
  • Participate in ongoing sales and financial-planning training to continuously improve your craft
  • Operate with autonomy while leveraging Peak’s marketing, technology, coaching, and back-office infrastructure
Who Thrives at Peak

This opportunity is designed for someone who is commercially driven but wants to build a career around advice and relationships—not transactional selling. You’ll likely thrive here if you are:

  • A Trusted Relationship Builder - You know how to earn trust, ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and lead people toward decisions
  • Commercially Driven - You’re comfortable developing new business and understand that great advisors create opportunities rather than wait for them
  • High Ownership - You take responsibility for your results and follow through on what you commit to
  • Coachable - You actively seek feedback and are willing to practice, adjust, and improve
  • Competitive - You set ambitious goals and enjoy measuring yourself against a high standard
  • Intellectually Curious - You want to understand the “why” behind a strategy, not simply follow a script
Your Background

We’re less interested in checking every box than we are in finding people with a demonstrated ability to build trust, generate business, and perform at a high level. Strong candidates will typically have:

  • 2+ years of success in financial services, consultative sales, or another high-performance relationship-driven environment
  • A proven track record of developing new business or growing client relationships
  • Strong communication skills and confidence presenting in person, virtually, and over the phone
  • The ability to navigate sophisticated financial conversations with professionalism and good judgment
  • Comfort using technology, including CRMs, Microsoft Office, and financial planning tools such as eMoney
  • Series 65 or 66
  • Life & Health license, or the ability to obtain it within 60 days
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
Why Make the Move?

Maybe you’ve already proven you can sell.

But you want more than being handed a product, a quota, or one small piece of the client relationship.

You want to become the person clients call when the decision really matters.

At Peak, you’ll have the opportunity to build those relationships while developing a business with meaningful long-term earning and ownership potential.
