Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. in Terre Haute, IN, seeks an experienced Financial Accounting Supervisor to lead the Accounts Receivable and general accounting functions, ensuring timely, accurate financial statements.

You will coordinate month-end close, perform financial analysis, handle reconciliations, assist with tax-related activities, inventories, capital projects, and support quarterly reviews and year-end audits. A Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA/CMA preferred; supervisory experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Five or more years of accounting experience required.
• CMA or CPA is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is required.

This position will provide an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to excel in a position of leadership! The Financial Accounting Supervisor will assist in the timely and accurate production of financial statements and is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting at the Terre Haute division of Steel Dynamics.

Some of the responsibilities will include

• Preparation of financial statements
• Financial analysis

• Assisting in tax-related activities

• Assisting in quarterly reviews and year-end audit by outside auditors

• Bachelor's Degree (Accounting is preferred)
• General knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Five (5) or more years of accounting experience
