Job summary

Jobtailor in Kentucky seeks a skilled Senior Accountant to support month-end close, analysis, and reporting. You will lead projects, interpret accounting results, and prepare presentations for stakeholders while driving process improvements.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel, and familiarity with Power Query; CPA/CMA/MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years accounting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Advanced Excel proficiency preferred.
• Experience with Power Query and advanced digital capabilities (chatGPT) preferred.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Previous work experience with month end close processes, account reconciliation and statutory accounting principles preferred.
