Job summary

Apex Group in New York is seeking a Digital Finance UX Manager to enhance user experiences across finance systems, partnering with Finance, Technology and Product teams to deliver intuitive, high-adoption solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in UX or related fields, strong knowledge of finance processes and enterprise systems, and hands-on UX tooling such as Figma or Adobe XD. Four days in office in NYC with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, UX Design, or a related discipline.
• UX, Design Thinking, Agile, or Change Management certifications preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in UX, Digital Transformation, Product Design, Business Analysis, or Finance Transformation.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, OneStream, etc.).
• Experience with UX tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve user journeys across finance processes including planning, reporting, accounting, and forecasting.
• Conduct user research, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve usability.
• Partner with Product Owners and Technology teams to translate business requirements into user-centric solutions.
• Develop wireframes, process maps, and experience recommendations for finance platforms.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities.
• Monitor system adoption, user satisfaction, and experience metrics, driving continuous improvements.
• Establish UX standards and best practices across digital finance products.
