Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Finance Transformation Program Lead to oversee multiple initiatives spanning Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Data, and Technology. This remote consulting role requires senior-level program management experience and a proven ability to deliver complex finance transformations.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in finance transformation, strong stakeholder management, and expertise in Revenue Recognition, O2C, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading finance transformation or related programs.
• Experience managing large cross-functional initiatives in complex orgs.
• Deep knowledge of Revenue Recognition, O2C, Tax Operations and Financial Reporting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Consulting experience in large enterprise environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple finance transformation initiatives across Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Data, and Tech teams.
• Drive Revenue Recognition and O2C process improvements.
• Assess current-state processes, systems, controls, and operating models.
• Define future-state solutions and transformation roadmaps.
• Develop project plans, governance structures, milestones, and accountability frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and facilitate decision-making across business and technology teams.
• Lead process optimization for efficiency, scalability, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Partner with Finance and Technology teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and system effectiveness.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and change impacts while ensuring timely delivery of objectives.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure program success and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple finance transformation initiatives across Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Data, and Technology teams.
• Drive projects related to Revenue Recognition, Order-to-Cash (O2C) process improvements, and Global Indirect Tax transformation.
• Assess current-state finance processes, systems, controls, and operating models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Define practical future-state solutions and transformation roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, governance structures, milestones, and accountability frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and facilitate decision-making across business and technology teams.
• Lead process optimization efforts focused on efficiency, scalability, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Partner with Finance and Technology teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and system effectiveness.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years leading Finance Transformation, Finance Operations, or Enterprise Transformation programs.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within complex organizations.
• Deep understanding of finance and accounting processes, including Revenue Recognition, Order-to-Cash, Financial Controls, Tax Operations, and Financial Reporting.
• Strong project and program management capabilities with a record of successful execution.
• Experience working directly with senior Finance and Accounting leaders.
• Ability to quickly assess business challenges, establish priorities, and execute practical solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Preferred: experience in global digital, subscription, streaming, media, or entertainment businesses.
• Preferred: background in finance process, data, and systems transformation, including ERP implementations and finance technology platforms.
• Preferred: familiarity with global tax and compliance requirements and operating model transformation.
• Preferred: consulting experience within large enterprise environments.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field required.
• Master's degree (MBA, MS Finance, MS Information Systems, or similar) preferred.Professional certifications such as PMP, CPA, CMA, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci Change Management, or equivalent are a plus.
• Additional coursework or certifications in Finance Transformation, ERP systems, Business Analysis, Project Management, or Process Improvement are highly desirable.
