Heritage Wealth Advisors offers a Financial Planning & Tax Intern position for Spring and Summer. The internship is in‑person and based in Pittsburgh, PA or Richmond, VA, requiring 15–20 hours per week with potential for additional hours.

Interns will work with the Financial Planning & Tax Team to gain hands‑on experience serving high‑net‑worth clients, assisting with research, analysis, and planning materials under supervision.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or current student studying accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Minimum commitment of 15–20 hours per week, in person.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong organization, analytical ability, attention to detail, and time management.

Responsabilités

• Assist with client meeting preparation by supporting Wealth Advisors and Planning Associates.
• Gather information to analyze and prepare comprehensive financial plans.
• Draft client communications via email, phone, and written notes.
• Participate in client meetings when appropriate and document key info and next steps.
• Assist with tax planning and support development of strategies for clients.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of client communications, tasks, and appointments.
• Support day-to-day operations and flexible priorities within the Heritage team.
