United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Tax Technologist to own tax-related changes across billing and ERP integrations, and to build tooling for audit-ready tax data pipelines. The role partners with Tax, Data Science, Billing Engineering and Product to keep the tax stack compliant and scalable as the business grows.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years in tax technology or finance systems, strong Python/SQL, and experience with SOX-compliant data flows.

the company's Tax Technology function sits inside Finance Systems and owns the systems that make every revenue and purchasing motion bookable, taxable, and auditable from day one. We're looking for a tax technologist who builds: someone who already understands how tax systems work and who writes the integrations, tooling, and production code that connect them to the company billing, ERP, and data warehouse systems.
You’ll build across all of tax, including indirect tax, corporate income tax and provision, withholding tax, R&D credits, and transfer pricing. You’ll be a foundational hire on a small team, working directly with the Tax Technology Lead and be a trusted partner to our cross functional partners in Tax, Data Science, Billing Engineering and Product, among others. You’ll be the key the company tax technology technical resource building and hardening the tax-specific tooling and audit-ready evidence pipelines that allow the function to keep pace as the business grows.
This role is expected to take on more ambitious projects over time, including using Claude to automate tax work end to end and building internal products that are both high impact and seamless to use for the Tax team.
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location‑based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$205,000 — $270,000 USD
