Job summary

Carolina PRG is seeking an experienced Finance Systems & Consolidation Manager to own and optimize the FCCS environment. You will work across Accounting, Finance and IT to enhance finance technology, automate manual tasks and improve controls.

The role combines system ownership with US GAAP consolidation, close and reporting expertise, driving efficiency and visibility across the close process and related finance systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS or related field.
• 5+ years with Oracle FCCS or related EPM/financial consolidation tools.
• Experience with FCCS administration, configuration or development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for the Oracle FCCS environment, including maintenance and data integrity.
• Support FCCS during close cycles and resolve system or calculation issues.
• Maintain dimensions, metadata, rules, formulas and integrations with ERP and financial systems.
• Design enhancements to improve consolidation, close, reporting and accounting processes.
• Develop forms, dashboards, reports and workflows within FCCS.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance and IT to improve efficiency and control through automation.

Job description

Carolina PRG is conducting a search for an experienced Finance Systems & Consolidation Manager.

This position will have primary responsibility for supporting and enhancing the company's financial systems environment while partnering across Accounting, Finance and IT on broader finance technology and process improvement initiatives.

The role combines financial systems ownership with a strong understanding of accounting, consolidation, close and reporting. This individual will support the existing environment while identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, automate manual activities and make better use of existing technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary resource for the Oracle FCCS environment, including ongoing administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, security and data integrity.
• Support FCCS during monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and work through system, data and calculation issues as they arise.
• Maintain dimensions, metadata, business rules, formulas and integrations between FCCS, the ERP and other financial systems.
• Design and implement enhancements to improve consolidation, close, reporting and other accounting processes.
• Build and enhance forms, dashboards, reports, workflows, calculations and other FCCS functionality.
• Support the implementation and continued development of Task Manager to improve close visibility, accountability and reporting.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance to understand existing processes, manual activities and pain points and determine where technology can improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify accounting activities, including reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, reporting and other recurring close processes.
• Help reduce spreadsheet dependency and manual work while improving accuracy, consistency, scalability and visibility.
• Evaluate opportunities to use existing automation tools, including Alteryx and other technologies, more effectively within Accounting and Finance.
• Support practical uses of automation and emerging technology across areas such as reconciliations, variance analysis, forecasting, anomaly identification and recurring accounting activities.
• Apply an understanding of consolidation accounting and US GAAP when reviewing system calculations, eliminations, translations and reporting.
• Ensure system changes and new processes include appropriate documentation, controls, audit trails, access management and change management.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, IT, Internal Audit and external auditors on system functionality, controls and process improvements.
• Develop documentation and provide training and ongoing support to system users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle , Hyperion Financial Management or another closely related Oracle EPM or financial consolidation platform.
• Hands‑on experience administering, configuring or developing within FCCS or a comparable financial systems environment.
• Corporate accounting, financial reporting or consolidation experience with the ability to understand Accounting and Finance requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Experience supporting financial system implementations, enhancements, close improvements, automation projects or other finance transformation initiatives.
