Job summary

Kiewit Finance Supervisor – Advanced Technology position based in Itasca, IL, onsite Monday through Friday. Leads a team of finance professionals supporting multiple projects, delivering accurate financial analyses, reporting, and projections to operations managers and executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of financial/data analysis or public accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing or managing a team.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • High level of professionalism and standards.
  • Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
  • Travel may be required for this position (up to 25%).

  • Drive continuous improvement throughout the organization and is a proponent for positive change.
  • Effectively use the right data, reports, and tools for risk analysis and benchmarking.
  • Review all project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders in detail for financial risks and opportunities.
  • Understand the needs of the organization and bring in high quality talent.

Position Overview

As a Financial Supervisor, you will lead a team of finance professionals. You and your team will support multiple projects in accounting and finance related functions. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to both operations managers and executive management. The Finance Supervisor position requires strong leadership skills, relentless ambition for continuous improvement, and polished technical and soft skills.

District Overview

Kiewit’s Industrial and Water Engineering Group has the ability and the responsibility to greatly influence the successful outcome of our projects. Our team is multi-faceted, with best-in-class technical expertise focused on EPC and design-build delivery of industrial projects in markets such as Food & Beverage, Mineral Processing, Renewable Fuels, Pulp and Paper, Steel & Aluminum, Industrial Buildings, and Industrial Energy, Water and Utilities.

Location

This position is based out of our Itasca, IL office. Work schedule is onsite M - F.

Responsibilities

Base Compensation:$100,000/yr -$125,000/yr

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
