Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to own the finance lens on our North America 3PL network. You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze cost drivers, model should-costs, and evaluate RFQs, surfacing opportunities to reduce costs and improve service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own the finance view of Amazon's North America 3PL spend: analyze cost drivers at a granular level and link operational metrics to financial outcomes to surface cost-improvement opportunities.
• Lead the cost analysis within 3PL tenders, from should-cost modeling and RFQ evaluation to bid comparison, ensuring competitive cost and service on every award.
• Benchmark relentlessly, 1P vs 3P, region vs region, site vs site, and use gaps to drive decisions and savings.
• Communicate data clearly and concisely, leading with the number, the driver, and the recommendation to influence actions.
• Earn the trust of business partners to influence tactical and strategic decisions that reduce cost and improve service.
• Identify risks, quantify their impact, propose changes, and implement improvements in ambiguous environments.
• Contribute to the WW finance toolkit to scale standards and share knowledge.
