Job summary

Amazon seeks a motivated Accounting Intern for its 2027 Finance Rotation Program in Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA. This 12-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in the Global Accounting organization, focusing on financial reporting and close processes.

You will complete a unique project, work with teams across accounting, finance, operations, and technology, and present a capstone to stakeholders. There may be an offer to join AFRP after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s in Accounting with graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
• Able to work 40 hours/week for the 12-week internship May–September
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling)

Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Complete a unique project tailored to your team within Global Accounting
• Problem Solving: Apply accounting, analytical, and business acumen to optimize processes and drive quality
