Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in Dallas, TX is seeking a litigation associate with 3–5 years of experience in a top-tier firm to join our Finance & Restructuring group. The role requires excellent writing, strong academics, and the ability to manage complex matters from pre-suit through trial, including discovery and motion practice.

Our policy calls for three days per week in-office, with in-person appearances for court events, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation experience at an Am Law 100 firm.
• Excellent writing skills and strong academic credentials.
• Ability to manage complex matters from pre-suit through trial.

Responsabilités

• Manage complex litigation from pre-suit through trial, including developing and executing discovery strategies and drafting persuasive briefs and memoranda.
• Draft and argue motions, take and defend fact and expert depositions, prepare witnesses, and coordinate deadlines and client communications.
• Provide strategic counsel and recommendations to clients while ensuring in-person appearances for court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting a litigation associate to join the Finance & Restructuring practice group for our Dallas, TX office. Our Finance & Restructuring team provides integrated and strategic legal counsel on the full range of financial matters, including complex financial transactions, corporate debt restructurings, and related litigation matters. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of litigation experience within an Am Law 100 firm. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required.

This associate will manage complex litigation matters from pre-suit through trial, including developing and executing discovery strategies, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending fact and expert depositions, preparing witnesses, researching legal issues, and drafting persuasive briefs and memoranda while overseeing case deadlines, filings, and client communications. The role also requires a regular in-person presence for court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, witness preparation sessions, and trial proceedings, while providing strategic counsel and recommendations to clients.
