Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation's Trust & Custody Operations Internship provides hands-on exposure to back-office activities supporting corporate trust and institutional custody services. You will process wire payments, handle ownership transfers, and set up new accounts.

You'll work with a supportive team in Kansas City, learn about regulatory reporting, invoicing, and risk mitigation while pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program specialized in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Facilitate trade activity (global and domestic) and monitor settlement
• Initiate domestic and foreign money movements
• Provide reporting as requested
• Facilitate problem resolution, tracking issues through to completion
• Follow company/department policies and procedures to mitigate risk
• Support documentation and audit requests

Education

Association/Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics/Mathematics
