Job summary

The role provides accounting, budgeting, and financial support across the administration, including reviewing transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently review, approve, and reconcile financial transactions including payroll, reimbursements, purchasing cards and requisitions to ensure expenditures are within budget.
• Assist with position funding plans, reconcile biweekly admin unit payroll, coordinate with other units on discrepancies; develop tools/process improvements.
• Assist with various reconciliations including state, designated, gift, and foundation accounts; prepare financial reports.
• Communicate with units regarding balances and expenditures; provide guidance on policies and procedures.
• Annually assist management with All Funds Annual Budget by gathering salary information and projecting operations.
