4–8 years in finance, ideally with time as a controller or senior FP&A in a venture-backed startup.
Hands-on finance function role; not a manager position.
Experience with Ramp (or similar spend platform), Pulley or Carta, and QuickBooks or similar.
Ability to read and negotiate commercial contracts without a lawyer in the room.
Comfort with hardware-plus-software cost structures and real-world costs.
High ownership and low ego about scope and outcomes.

Own Ramp end-to-end: card issuance, spend policy, approvals, expense review, and bill pay.
Internal owner of financial accuracy: reconciliations, close support, and data integrity.
Cap table management: reflect all option grants, exercises, and financing events.
Own FP&A: monthly forecast, variance analysis, and department budgets.
Review and negotiate vendor contracts; liaise with outside counsel on commercial matters.
Manage insurance program including D&O, EPLI and general liability; board approvals when needed.
Support board and investors with financial models and data; answer hard questions.
Lead cross-functional finance projects and diligence on new initiatives or ventures.
