Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking an Operations Intern to help support a range of operations teams across the firm in Austin or Westlake, TX. You will participate in processing, reviews, documentation, research, reconciliations, and operational reporting while learning how risk awareness and client service come together in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a higher education degree and expected to graduate after August 2027.
• Able to attend the internship in person, onsite in Austin or Westlake, TX from June 6 2027 through August 6 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
• Demonstrated ability to review information carefully, identify inconsistencies, and produce accurate work through coursework, projects, employment, leadership activities, or extracurricular involvement.
• Ability to follow structured processes, exercise sound judgment, and determine appropriate next steps when resolving business challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document work clearly and collaborate effectively with others.
• Ability to manage commitments, meet deadlines, and demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to learn new systems, business processes, and operational procedures quickly in a dynamic environment.
