Job summary

WorkGenius Group in Foster City, CA is seeking a Finance Operations Analyst for an approximate 6-month engagement. You will build and maintain financial models for programs, track spending against forecasts, and support monthly/quarterly close activities with Finance and Procurement.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Cost Engineering to validate BOM costs and translate complex financial data into clear narratives for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of FP&A, financial analysis, cost accounting, or a related finance function.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, Procurement, or similar non-finance teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to translate financial data for non-finance leadership; familiarity with ERP/procurement or BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop leadership-ready financial reports and dashboards while identifying opportunities to improve financial tracking and reporting processes.
