Amazon is seeking a Financial Analyst III in the Transportation Technology and Services organization to drive strategic financial decision-making and growth. You will lead reporting, standardize planning processes, and establish controls to enable sound financial decisions.
You will partner with leaders to develop analytical frameworks, perform deep-dives, and support month-end close, budgeting, and long-range planning with a focus on scalable finance tools and processes.

As a Financial Analyst III in our Transportation Technology and Services organization, you will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights that guide business decisions across all organizational levels. You'll lead reporting initiatives, standardize planning processes, and establish the right controls to enable sound financial decisions.
Your day begins with reviewing key financial metrics and preparing for a meeting with business stakeholders to discuss operational performance and planning needs. Throughout the day, you'll work on deep-dive analyses to address specific business questions, collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on financial reporting standards, and develop improved control mechanisms. You'll participate in strategic planning sessions where your financial insights help shape business decisions, and spend time mentoring team members on financial processes and best practices.
We are the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team supporting the Transportation Technology and Services organizations. Our team owns central reporting, planning and goals for the organization, including operational expenditures, technology entitlements, and headcount planning. We serve as strategic financial partners, providing data-driven insights that guide decision-making across all levels of the organization. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
