Campbell's is seeking a Finance Manager for Supply Chain Finance – Logistics & Transportation in a hybrid role based in Camden, NJ. You will lead FP&A, collaborate with Logistics, Operations, Procurement, and Accounting, and drive cost analysis, planning, and performance reviews.

The Finance Manager, Supply Chain Finance – Logistics & Transportation supports the Logistics & Transportation Finance organization by managing assigned components of financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support under the direction of the Senior Manager. This role translates operational and financial data into clear insights, strengthens cost accountability, and partners with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Accounting, and divisional Finance stakeholders to support performance delivery and informed decision-making.

This cross-functional role supports the annual operating plan, periodic projections, monthly performance reviews, risk and opportunity tracking, and financial analysis for cost savings and productivity initiatives. The successful candidate will combine strong FP&A capabilities, business partnership, people leadership, and a continuous-improvement mindset to execute core finance processes, surface actionable insights, and support recommendations for senior Finance and Supply Chain leaders.

This is a hybrid role based in Camden, NJ

What You Will Do…
  • Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Manage assigned components of the Logistics & Transportation budget and support development of the Annual Operating Plan, monthly projections, and longer-range financial outlooks.

  • Partner with Transportation, Warehousing, Supply Chain Planning, Divisional Finance, Procurement, and Accounting teams to develop assumptions, challenge inputs, and align operational plans with financial targets.

  • Perform monthly analysis of actual results versus projection, AOP, and prior year, clearly identifying volume, rate, mix, productivity, inflation, and other key cost drivers.

  • Track risks and opportunities, develop a forward-looking view of performance, and recommend actions for Senior Manager review to close gaps or capture upside.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including appropriate review of accruals, journal entries, cost-center results, and financial rollups in partnership with Accounting.

  • Prepare concise financial narratives, bridges, scorecards, and recommendations to support leadership reviews and executive-level messaging led by the Senior Manager.

  • Business Partnership & Decision Support

  • Serve as a day-to-day finance partner to Logistics & Transportation leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, bringing financial rigor, constructive challenge, and actionable insight to operating decisions.

  • Connect operational KPIs and cost drivers to financial outcomes, enabling leaders to understand performance and take corrective action.

  • Develop scenario modeling, business cases, return analysis, and financial inputs for network, sourcing, service, capacity, technology, and other initiatives, escalating key trade-offs and recommendations through the Senior Manager.

  • Support regular business reviews with cross-functional partners by preparing analysis, highlighting drivers, risks, opportunities, decisions, and accountability items.

  • Influence across a matrixed organization and manage competing priorities without direct authority.

  • Cost Savings, Productivity & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to identify, size, and track cost savings and productivity initiatives, supporting prioritization and delivery decisions led by senior stakeholders.

  • Maintain clear baselines, assumptions, trackers, and benefit-validation methodologies to support governance of planned and realized savings.

  • Monitor enabler performance, identify execution risks, and facilitate action plans to deliver AOP and productivity commitments.

  • Advance standardized reporting, dashboards, planning tools, and processes that improve transparency, forecast accuracy, controls, and decision speed.

  • Promote a continuous-improvement culture by simplifying work, strengthening data integrity, and establishing scalable best practices.

  • People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead day-to-day priorities, coaching, and development for assigned finance team members, setting clear expectations and maintaining high standards for execution quality.

  • Provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, stretch opportunities, and development plans that build technical, analytical, business-partnering, and leadership capabilities.

  • Create an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable team environment with a strong bias for action and high standards for quality.

  • Support team capacity and continuity through effective work allocation, cross-training, knowledge sharing, and input into development and succession discussions led by senior leadership.

What You Bring to the Table… (Must Have)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Finance or FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting.

  • Leadership and influence experience with demonstrated success coaching, mentoring, and developing finance talent.

  • Experience owning or supporting a significant operating‑expense budget and translating operating drivers into financial outcomes.

  • Strong business‑partnering skills with the ability to challenge assumptions, influence without authority, and drive cross‑functional accountability.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting cost savings, productivity, or continuous‑improvement initiatives from business case through benefit realization.

  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, executive‑ready insights and recommendations.

  • Requires the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data, identify the most important drivers, and communicate a simple story with a clear action plan.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Builds credibility with both financial and non‑financial audiences while supporting decisions, escalating key issues appropriately, and maintaining strong fiduciary standards.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience working in ERP and enterprise planning/reporting environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy, controls, and confidentiality.

  • Works through ambiguity, proactively identifies risks, opportunities, and process improvements, and brings forward recommendations for alignment with the Senior Manager.

It Would be Great if You Have… (Nice to Have)
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant advanced degree or certification.

  • Experience in CPG, retail, manufacturing, e‑commerce, or another high‑volume operating environment.

  • Direct experience supporting transportation, warehousing, distribution, customer logistics, or broader Supply Chain Finance.

  • Knowledge of SAP, EPM, business‑intelligence, data‑visualization, or workflow‑automation tools.

  • Experience with Integrated Business Planning, network strategy, cost‑to‑serve, or logistics sourcing decisions.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full‑time, salaried position is between

$109,200-$150,200

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
