Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Finance Manager to join the SSO Finance team in Seattle. Own end-to-end finance support for AWS SSO services, including P&L management, planning, and strategic feature launches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• MBA or CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in financial planning; build complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance
• Owning the services end to end of revenue creation, and influence business decisions that drive pipeline creation and realization
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations
• Partner with finance, business, and sales teams across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.
