Job description

The Finance & Business Planning team is the strategic engine behind Meta’s bold investments. We oversee the company’s entire budget and drive data‑informed decisions that shape the future of Meta and our family of products. As number‑crunching innovators, we uncover trends, identify opportunities, and power the insights that guide Meta’s most important strategic choices. We combine financial discipline, analytical insight, and business partnership to support Meta’s priorities.

Meta’s Infrastructure Finance Team is seeking a finance professional to drive our strategic financial and commercial efforts related to large‑scale infrastructure investments. This individual will focus on complex financial and commercial modeling, structuring analysis, and decision support for high‑stakes, multi‑billion‑dollar transactions, with a particular focus on Hardware Supply Chain while also covering cloud agreements and leasing.

This position will work closely with relevant teams in the Infrastructure Supply Chain Engineering group, as well as with other Finance, Legal, Policy, and Tax teams to secure cost‑competitive and strategic resources for Meta’s continued global growth and AI product rollouts.

We’re looking for someone who can connect day‑to‑day financial performance with longer‑term business decisions. You will build financial models, and turn complex commercial agreements and operating inputs into clear recommendations to drive value for Meta. Your work will span deal modeling, strategic finance, and core FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, and business decision support. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role for someone who brings sound financial judgment, curiosity, and a clear point of view. You will build depth in your coverage, and help the team develop repeatable processes and practical uses of AI and automation. Infrastructure experience is helpful, but we welcome candidates from other industries who can learn a complex business and apply strong finance fundamentals.

  • 8+ years of professional experience in FP&A, strategic finance, business finance, business strategy, strategy consulting, investment banking, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience independently owning planning, forecasting, or financial analysis workstreams and managing multiple priorities against high‑level goals
  • Experience building spreadsheet‑based financial models and translating open‑ended business questions into structured analyses, scenarios, and recommendations
  • Understanding of financial statements and the relationship between operating performance, investment decisions, and cash flow
  • Experience combining and validating data from multiple sources, identifying financial or operational drivers, and explaining variances
  • Experience building relationships with business partners and influencing decisions across functions
  • Experience communicating financial analysis and recommendations through clear written documents and presentations
  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance, across multiple time zones with both Finance and key cross‑functional business partners
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience with long‑range planning, capital allocation, commercial analysis, or evaluating business cases under uncertainty
  • Experience in a high‑growth or technology‑focused business, particularly supporting engineering, product, or operations teams
  • Experience applying AI tools or automation to financial analysis, reporting, or planning, with demonstrated attention to output quality
  • Master's degree in business, finance, accounting, management, or a related field
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience in infrastructure, cloud services, hardware, manufacturing, or another capital‑intensive or operationally complex business
  • Experience preparing materials for VP‑level or C‑suite reviews
  • Experience with Financial systems (e.g. Essbase, Oracle Financials), dashboard reporting tools (i.e. Tableau) and SQL
