Job summary

Providence is seeking a Finance Manager to support local ministry leadership with financial analysis and modeling to assess new programs and drive budgetary performance. The role focuses on strategic planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement, with involvement in month-end close and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of finance experience, with CPA or HFMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and modeling to evaluate new programs and propose recommendations to meet financial targets.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting; develop analytical reports to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Support month-end close and review of financial statements and related analyses.
• Serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders when needed.
• Develop financial plans and budgets to support facility or ministry leadership.
• Place placement on wage range and discuss compensation with leadership as required.

Finance Manager - Hybrid

The Finance Manager support local ministry/entity leadership teams and may serve on local leadership committees as assigned. Responsible for financial analysis and modeling in order to evaluate the effectiveness of new programs and to propose recommendations for achieving financial goals and budgetary targets. Additionally, to provide financial analysis for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting and to develop analytical reports to assist in enhancing process improvements and in increasing efficiencies. May also serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders. Other responsibilities may include development of financial plans, budgets, and support for month-end review of financial statements and other assistance as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
