Job summary

Vinayaka Hospitality (VH) seeks an Assistant Director of Finance for The Blackstone Hotel in Chicago. You will support internal controls, monthly reporting, and collaborate with corporate accounting to implement audit recommendations.

Ideal candidate has a four-year degree in accounting and 1–2 years in hospitality accounting, GAAP expertise, and strong leadership. The role offers growth within VH's expanding portfolio.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience.
• One to two years of employment in hospitality management or hospitality accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, finance and hospitality professions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly forecasting and financial reporting.
• Prepare month-end reports and tax reporting packages.
• Support audit recommendations and internal controls.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and treasury reports.
• Coordinate cash handling and deposits; ensure accuracy of ledgers.
