You will collaborate with accounting, tax, treasury, and business partners, applying COSO and GAAP knowledge to deliver scalable, secure financial solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of internal control framework (COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
• Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
• Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
• Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions

Responsibilities

• Own and manage lifecycle activities from planning to stakeholder engagement for multiple projects.
• Automate processes and design tools to make financial statement processes easier and more accurate.
• Support expansion by ensuring implementation of controlled processes to keep financial statements materially correct.
• Consult with partner teams across Amazon.
• Make decisions to drive a project to completion.
• Collaborate with Amazonians of diverse backgrounds.
